Terms of Use
These terms apply to everyone who uses Maya in every country. Consumer and child rights in your country of residence prevail where they cannot be waived.

1. The agreement
By entering Maya (website, app, TestFlight, or PWA) you contract with Michal Topchiashvili. If the user is a child, the parent or guardian accepts these terms on the child’s behalf.
2. Worldwide availability
Maya is offered worldwide, subject to app-store availability, export and sanctions limits, and local law. We may block a region if the law forbids it.
3. License
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Maya for home learning. You may not copy, sell, scrape at scale, hack, or use Maya to build a competing product out of the content.
The catalog is original content inspired by common curriculum topics. It is not an official textbook of any ministry of education anywhere in the world.
4. Age, parent, and account
No account is required to start. Before server AI, parent verification is required for every product age band. You represent that the email belongs to a parent/guardian.
5. AI and educational responsibility
Some lessons are authored. Some are generated by a language model. Models are wrong sometimes. Maya is not a licensed teacher, not medical/legal/financial advice, and not a substitute for a parent or a school.
6. Content you send
Page photos, voice, and text: you grant us a limited, worldwide license only to provide the requested lesson and to run security. We will not use them for advertising. You represent you have the right to send them (for example your child’s page).
7. Maya Plus
Free layer: the room, Maya, three new lessons, and unlimited replay. Plus: further new lessons, page photos, full voice — as shown at checkout. Price and term are shown in the local store in local currency.
App Store purchases are governed by Apple’s terms and Apple’s refunds in each country: Apple Standard EULA. Web purchases are governed by Stripe and the Subscriptions policy.
8. Acceptable use
Illegal use, harm to children, trying to jailbreak Maya into harm, mass scraping, or sending another child’s information without authority are forbidden. The full rules are in Acceptable Use.
9. Intellectual property
Maya, the character, the room, the catalog, and the code belong to the operator or licensors. Third-party marks (Apple, Google, etc.) belong to their owners.
10. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is.” To the extent the law of your country allows, we do not promise uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy of a model-generated lesson.
In Australia, the EU, the UK, and many other countries, consumer guarantees cannot be reduced. This section does not touch those.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Maya Plus in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 — whichever is higher. We do not limit liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything the law forbids limiting.
12. Extra Apple terms
If you downloaded from the App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section. Apple is not obliged to provide maintenance or content. IP claims about the app go to us, not Apple. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, in every country where Apple distributes Maya.
13. Law, forum, and consumers worldwide
Except where a consumer’s or child’s local law says otherwise, the governing law is the State of Israel, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Forum: the courts of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa district — but a consumer may also sue in a forum that their home-country law protects (including consumer courts in the EU, UK, Australia, Brazil, the US, and elsewhere).
There is no mandatory arbitration for minors. We do not waive class actions where that waiver is forbidden.
14. Termination
You may stop at any time and delete data from the device. We may suspend use that breaks these terms or endangers a child. IP, disclaimer, liability, and law sections survive.
